Iceland has announced it is now offering a new discount to its over 60 shoppers to help ease the pressure of rising costs.
Over 60’s who visit Iceland stores will be able to receive a 10% discount on Tuesdays, with no minimum spend.
The news comes after the supermarket chain reduced all its frozen and fresh vegetables worth under £1 to 1p back in April, introduced to help those who have been hit hard during the cost-of-living crisis. They also added QR codes on their milk cartons to promote the NHS Healthy Start Scheme that allows low-income families across the UK access to free milk, fruit & vegetables, pulses, baby formula, and Healthy Start vitamins.
The firm is also looking at a national rollout of its £30 vouchers to those receiving state pension, following a regional trial over Christmas.
