Lowe’s has begun preparation for its second-ever SpringFest event, held both online and in-store between April 7th and May 4th. The event will feature in-store experiences and workshops, special discounts on select spring products, and an initiative to encourage planting leading up to Earth Day.
Attendees to the event will be able to access 30-minute, in-store lawn and garden “walking tours” with Lowe’s expert store associates, held three times a day starting April 19th with timeslots available to book online.
Lowe’s will also offer seasonally-themed shoppable Livestream and in-store workshops as part of the new DIY-U by Lowe’s program, allowing customers to add to cart and ask questions in real-time.
From a CSR perspective, Lowe’s aims to encourage people to bring one million new plants into the world by Earth Day on April 22nd, and for every person who posted a tulip emoji alongside #SeedingSpring on social media on the first day of spring (March 20th), Lowe’s will plant a real seed alongside seed giveaways at select stores.
